Someone had to "test" the icing on the cake before everyone arrived!!



We celebrated Grey's second birthday yesterday with grandparents, great grandparents and cousins. Both babies have been fighting a cold for the past few days, so I am glad that Grey felt well enough to enjoy his day. Today is his actually his birthday and we stayed home all day. We didn't feel that he was well enough to leave in the nursery at church. It's funny to think how the last two years with our sweet boy have flown by, but then it seems like we have been worried with carseats and diaper bags and nap times forever. The "easy" days seem so long ago! I like the craziness of our days now too! :)
Grey is so funny and doing new things all the time. We have only changed two dirty diapers since Christmas Eve! So I guess you could say he is halfway potty trained. He is talking so much, asking questions and sharing his opinions. He is VERY opinionated about everything from what he wants to eat to what he will wear to what is playing on tv. His favorite things to watch are Pooh and football. His new saying this weekend is "no please!" I guess now that he understands "please" he thinks if he adds it to "no" we will listen to him! :) He says it when we tell him to do something or we take something away.
