blowing his nose, kind of

Okay, this clip does not do justice to Greyson's cute new trick, but it's the best I can do today as my Little Angel is acting more like a Holy Terror tonight.  And it's Wednesday so I am home alone with him while Kevin is at choir practice.  (No worries though, tomorrow is girl's night!)
To remind myself of his sweetness- another cute thing he is doing now is talking to my belly!  Now he loves picking up his shirt and patting his belly when we work on body parts, and he likes to find our bellies, too, but over the past week he has started leaning over to kiss my belly and "talk" to it!  I guess he has baby radar or something!  We just hope he doesn't scare baby girl into not coming out!  I guess he is a pretty good kid- pain-in-the-rear nights and all.

A day of firsts, but not the good kind!

Today was the first time we sat in the sick section of the peds office, the first time we've heard "ear infection" and the first time he's been on antibiotics.  Not fun, I was hoping that coming this far we wouldn't have to worry about ear infections!  On a funnier note, tomorrow I will try to get a picture of Greyson's new trick- blowing his nose (really his mouth) into a tissue.  He is so funny!

Just Catching Up

This is just a random shot of him having crawled under the end table to get something.  He ended up getting stuck and I had to pull him out by his feet.

Grey loves shoes!  He tries putting them on his feet, but isn't too good at that so mainly he crawls or walks with them on his hands.  Saturday morning he had Kevin's shoes and we thought it would be funny to stand him up in them- we were right!

Greyson LOVED the warm weather last week and I think we spent every afternoon outside.  He is content to just sit in the grass and watch the cars go by, as long as he is outside he is happy.  When it is time to go in he kicks and screams, something he has gotten very good at lately!  He can throw a tantrum with the best of them.

Thankful Thursday

I've read other blogs that do this weekly post and I think it's a great idea, so here goes......

I am thankful that tonight is girls night with several ladies from my Sunday school class.  I can already taste that Copper River salad! Yumm!  Also thankful thay I have a husband who is
always willing to have a night at home with Greyson so that I can get away.

I am thankful that Kevin has a few jobs lined up in the next couple of weeks, and that he talked to a new contractor today who may give him work!  Being self-employed in this economy is STRESSFULL!!!!!!

I am thankful for my beautiful little boy who is healthy and happy.  See....

And even though I dont have the pictures or video on my computer yet,  I am thankful that our little GIRL also appears to be healthy and growing right on track!  I am also thankful it is consignment sale time so that hopefully I can sale some of Grey's clothes to get money to buy all that pink stuff!  We have hardly talked names at all, but I'll keep you posted.

A tale of two Januarys

Last January I VERY happily packed away my maternity clothes into a big tub and pushed it into the extra bedroom.  Today, this January, I pushed that big tub back into my bedroom and not-so-happily went through those same maternity clothes so that I could wash them and have them ready to wear again.  **sigh**  I was worried that I would pop a lot sooner this time, but I was about 19 weeks last time when I moved into maternity clothes, and I was 19 weeks yesterday and I'm still in most of my regular pants.  I did notice this morning that I have gained 3 pounds.  And the fun begins....

Prayer Request

I saw this on another blog I'm addicted to and wanted to pass the story on so that people can be praying for this baby and her family. Mom went to the hospital on Friday expecting to deliver a healthy baby girl. She is NOT healthy, and they are not sure what is going on and if she will even make it. Read the blog, say a prayer, pass it on.

Grey's Sunday afternoon

Grey's method for folding/putting away laundry:
Step 1- Put clothes Mom has already folded back into the laundry basket.
Step 2- Pull basket down and crawl inside to take those clothes back out. (This is when I got out the camera).

Step 3- Find a drawer, any drawer, to stuff the clothes into.

Step 4- Relax after your hard work but stealing Mom's cup and spend 15 minutes trying to get something to drink out of it.  If there's nothing but ice in it, use the straw to poke a hole in the bottom of the cup and pour the ice out in the floor.  Eat it as fast as you can before Dad cleans it up.
